NOVV STRIPS Personal Data Protection Notice pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia)
1.1 This Privacy Policy ("Notice") is issued by Mediaid Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (Company Registration No. [202601004736]), a company incorporated in Malaysia with its registered office at [The MET, Mont Kiara, THE MET CLUB by Colony, A-10-02, Menara The Met, No. 20, Jalan Dutamas 2, 50480 Kuala Lumpur], trading as NOVV STRIPS ("the Company", "we", "us" or "our").
1.2 This Notice describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in connection with the website located at [URL] (the "Website") and the sale of NOVV Strip products, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) ("PDPA").

1.4 By providing your personal data to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Notice and consent to the processing of your personal data as described herein.
2.1 We may collect the following categories of personal data:
(a) Identity and contact data — name, email address, telephone number; (b) Delivery data — shipping and billing address; (c) Transaction data — details of orders placed, payment confirmations and order history (complete payment card details are processed by third-party payment providers and are not stored by us); (d) Account data — login credentials, where an account is created; (e) Communications data — correspondence with our customer service function; (f) Marketing preference data — records of consent to and preferences for marketing communications; (g) User content — reviews, images or other content voluntarily submitted by you; and (h) Technical and usage data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and referral source, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2.2 We do not collect health information or other sensitive personal data through the Website. The NOVV digital health platform is a separate service governed by its own privacy notice; personal data provided to that platform is not combined with data collected under this Notice.
2.3 The provision of personal data described in clauses 2.1(a) to (c) is obligatory for the purposes of fulfilling orders. Failure to provide such data may result in our inability to process your order.
3.1 Personal data is collected and processed for the following purposes:
(a) to process, fulfil and deliver orders, and to administer returns, replacements and refunds; (b) to establish and administer customer accounts and subscriptions, including billing; (c) to respond to enquiries and provide customer support; (d) to send transactional and service communications relating to orders; (e) to send marketing communications, where consent has been given; (f) to publish customer reviews and, with consent, other customer content; (g) to conduct analytics and improve the Website, our products and services; (h) to detect and prevent fraud and misuse; and (i) to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax and accounting obligations.
3.2 Personal data is processed on the following bases: the performance of a contract with you; your consent (in respect of marketing communications, featured content and non-essential cookies); and compliance with legal obligations and other legitimate purposes directly related to the foregoing.
4.1 Personal data may be disclosed to the following categories of third parties, solely for the purposes set out in this Notice:
(a) courier and logistics providers, for order delivery; (b) payment service providers, for payment processing; (c) information technology and service providers, including website hosting, e-commerce, email and customer support platforms; (d) marketing service providers, where marketing consent has been given; (e) professional advisers, including legal and accounting advisers; and (f) regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies or courts, where disclosure is required by law.
4.2 We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to any third party.
4.3 Certain service providers may store or process personal data outside Malaysia. Where personal data is transferred outside Malaysia, we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers comply with the PDPA (as amended) and that the recipient provides an adequate level of protection for the personal data.
5.1 Personal data is retained only for so long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Without limitation:
(a) order and transaction records are retained for a period of [seven (7)] years in accordance with tax and accounting requirements; (b) account data is retained while the account remains active and deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period following closure, upon request; (c) customer service correspondence is retained for [twenty-four (24)] months following resolution; and (d) marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn.
5.2 Personal data which is no longer required is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
6.1 Subject to the provisions of the PDPA, you have the right to:
(a) request access to your personal data; (b) request correction of personal data that is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or not up to date; (c) withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data, in whole or in part; (d) limit the processing of your personal data, including for the purposes of direct marketing pursuant to section 43 of the PDPA; and (e) exercise such further rights as may be available under the PDPA as amended from time to time.
6.2 Requests may be submitted in writing to the contact details set out in Clause 10. We may require verification of identity before processing a request, and we may charge a prescribed fee for access requests where permitted by law. We will respond within the timeframes prescribed by the PDPA.
6.3 The withdrawal of consent to marketing communications shall not affect the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of existing orders.
6.4 If you are dissatisfied with our handling of your personal data, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commissioner, Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi (JPDP).
7.1 We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, including encryption of data in transit, access controls, and the use of payment providers that maintain PCI-DSS compliance.
7.2 In the event of a personal data breach which is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and affected individuals in accordance with the requirements of the PDPA (as amended).
8.1 The Website uses cookies and similar technologies, comprising:
(a) essential cookies, which are necessary for the operation of the Website, including shopping cart and checkout functionality; (b) analytics cookies, which assist us in understanding how the Website is used; and (c) marketing cookies, which are deployed only with your consent.
8.2 Non-essential cookies may be managed through the cookie preference banner or your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may impair the functionality of the Website.
9.1 The Website and the Products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of eighteen (18). If you believe that a minor has provided personal data to us, please contact us and the data will be deleted.
